Meet Little Adabunu, the youngest child of Mrs. Adabunu and the third in his family to be enrolled under the Grace Nartey Memorial Foundation Scholarship Scheme. Today, he is in JHS One at Cosmos Basic School, thriving in his studies and holding on to the hope of a brighter tomorrow.

Like his older siblings before him, Little Adabunu’s journey has not been easy. After the loss of his father, there were a lot of uncertainties for the family. But thanks to the Foundation, his dream of staying in school is alive.

Mrs. Commodore, a dedicated hairdresser, faced one of life’s greatest challenges when she lost her husband in 2022. Suddenly left to care for her children alone, providing for their education became an overwhelming burden.

Through the Grace Nartey Memorial Foundation’s scholarship scheme, a new chapter of hope began for her family. By the special grace of God, two of her children are now thriving in the Cosmos senior high school, while her youngest daughter is progressing steadily in basic four.

Mrs. Commodore shares that without the Foundation’s support, her children would not have reached this point in their education. In her words, the assistance has been a lifeline during one of the most difficult seasons of her life.

Her story stands as a powerful testament to the impact of the Grace Nartey Memorial Foundation. Turning despair into opportunity and giving families like hers the chance to build a brighter future.

Mrs. Adabunu, a trader by profession, lost her husband, Mr. Adabunu, a dedicated music teacher at Cosmos Basic School, after a long period of illness. During that period, she had to stay home frequently to care for him, and her business slowed down drastically. The passing of her husband brought immense challenges, especially in providing for the education of their three children.

Through the Grace Nartey Memorial Foundation’s scholarship scheme, hope was restored. After Mr. Adabunu’s passing, all three children were enrolled in the Foundation’s scholarship program. This support has transformed their lives.

Her eldest son, the first beneficiary, has now graduated from St. Augustine’s Senior High School. Her second son graduated from JHS as the overall most brilliant student and excelled in his BECE examinations and has recently gained admission to the Presby Senior High/Tech, Aburi school. Her youngest child is currently in JHS One and thriving excellently in his studies.

Mrs. Adabunu speaks with deep emotion about the impact the Grace Nartey Memorial Foundation has had on her family. She describes the support as a lifeline that turned despair into hope and gave her children a future she once feared they might lose. With heartfelt sincerity, she prays that God’s abundant blessings rest upon everyone whose generosity has made this journey possible.

Commodore, a bright Basic Four student at Cosmos Basic School, is chasing her dreams despite life’s challenges. With support from the Grace Nartey Memorial Foundation, she’s still in school, but she needs you to keep going.

Your donation can be the reason Gifty stays in school and builds the future she deserves.
